Grief comes in phases, and often when we least expect it. Allow the wave of pain wash over you, so you can deeply heal. Remember Grief has no expiration date.

Allow the wave of pain to wash over you

Wednesday, April 6th marked the 22nd anniversary of my father’s passing.

April 6, 1994, was a very painful day for me. (You can read more on the stages of grief I went through in my blog post ‘Our Souls are eternal‘)

It has been 22 years

I thought I had dealt with all my grief and that 22 years would have been enough time to leave it all behind. The Universe had something different in mind, however. Whereas the anniversary day itself passed without issue, I remembered that on that day 22 years ago, my father passed. It was ok.

Thursday was another story, though. When I woke up in the morning, I felt sad. I browsed through my photo book and selected a picture I loved of my Dad and me (still a baby) and felt the urge to honour him, so I posted the photo on my Facebook page.

Seeing the love in my father’s eyes

Looking at that picture, seeing the love in my father’s eyes – how he looked at me and how he held me – the tears just flowed.

For the first time in a very, very long time, I just let go. I was too tired to hold it all together any longer. I was too drained in doing it all on my own.

I missed my Dad. I missed having a man by my side, and I missed a simple hug or being held like my Dad held me in his lap when I was just a tiny baby.

Letting it all go

It felt so good to let it all go, to let the tears stream down my face. It felt so relieving to just let it all go and wash away.

I tried to keep up my usual routine of posting on social media and putting my blog post online. Every now and then, though, I just let another wave of deep-rooted pain wash over me. I fell to my knees and cried my eyes out. It felt good. I never felt good crying, however, this time, it just felt so liberating, so healing.

Time to heal has come

I knew the time had come to heal old wounds. Deeply rooted pain had been coming up, and it was the time to look at it and let it all go.
It just happened. I did not force myself to cry, and I didn’t force myself to stop either. I could have easily pushed it all down again, telling myself that I am too old to cry, or that after 22 years there was no reason to be sad about my father’s passing.

Allowing the wave of grief wash over me

I could have been cruel and bossy with myself; however, I have grown into a passionate and gentle woman who allows herself time to heal.

I was there, letting the waves of pain wash over me. I allowed myself to feel lonely. I allowed myself to miss my Dad.

I also realised that I wasn’t only mourning my Dad, but also my ex-husband and other men in my life who had left me.

Signs

While crying and listening to Adele’s new album, I heard her sing

‘Hello From The Other Side’

and I buckled again, sobbing deeply.

I knew it was a sign, a sign that my father was saying hello from the other side, and letting me know he is around me.

While I cried I felt cared for,

while I sobbed I felt deeply loved,

while I sniffled I felt hugged and understood.

My Dad holding me

Most amazing moment

I cannot even express what happened when I let it out. It was the most amazing moment. I felt good. Even though I was crying, I felt like a huge boulder was lifted off my shoulders, like a dark cloud had been lifted.

It was amazing.

I allowed myself to feel the pain

I could finally allow myself to look into the abyss of my pain. For the first time, I acknowledged how hard it all had been, and I felt free because I no longer had to hold it all together.

Oh yes, I was glad that my kids were at school, as otherwise I could not have allowed myself to grieve properly.

I felt nurtured, and I knew that a new deep connection to the center of my soul had been established.

Nurturing Soul Sisters

I was happy to share my experience with my soul sisters in Karina’s Circle (KarinaLadet.com), and felt so nourished, understood, and supported.

They all knew I was on the right path, and none said anything implying that I was being silly. They knew that healing takes time, and they were just there for me, holding me in my pain and allowing me to move on in my own time.

Watching a movie

The evening held another big release. My youngest, Horatio, and I watched the movie, ‘Father Of The Bride,’ and I remembered how my father walked me down the aisle (on November 20th, 1993) only 5 months before his passing. I saw how he must have felt, giving his oldest daughter away, and I remembered how nervous he was.

I cried more and more during the movie. My son did not really understand, but he is used to me crying during movies and at weddings.

My father loves me

I learnt again that my father loved me, and still loves me from the other side. The pictures of the two of us – when I was a baby or young child – show the love bond we shared. Maybe that loving bond wasn’t so easy to see during my teenage years.

Who knows? Maybe he held on to the role of a strict father too much, or maybe he was not able to show his love clearly, or maybe I expected too much, or that his love had to come in a certain form, which kept me from seeing that it was there all along, bright and clear.

You can read more about life with my father in my blog post ‘Through The Eyes Of A Child‘.

How liberating is it, to really understand that my Dad loved me.

Comments on my picture

The love was obvious in the picture I posted, as so many people commented on how they can see the love in his eyes, and also how similar I looked to him, which made me proud. I know he was also an Introvert and had trouble dealing with large crowds of people.

I am loved

What a wonderful feeling! Do you know what? During all that grief and crying, I reconnected with my own love deep within.

I had a lovely and restful sleep and woke up very peaceful. I felt a peace and warmth around me, I felt nurtured, but still very vulnerable.

I loved being vulnerable, though. I loved how I felt deeply cleansed and fresh.

I knew some profound healing had taken place, and I was shining in my colours again.

Embracing Vulnerability

Being vulnerable was empowering. I really opened up some more to the woman I am deep within.

It felt like a crisp, fresh, new day/life was about to begin. I embraced it and embraced my vulnerability and just felt like putting a blanket around myself and basking in that new energy.

Like breathing in that gentleness.

Like staying in that very, very peaceful energy, and accepting everything.

I let the waves of grief wash over me and I came out stronger and deeply cleansed on the other side.

What a relief! What a feeling! I am in awe.

Grief and pain come in waves and layers

Yes, I was finally ready to grieve and release properly. You can’t really schedule that level of healing in. It comes when it comes – when you have done enough inner work. When it does come, just be there embrace it. Let it wash over you, and allow it to happen.

Grief has no expiration date. Do not let anybody else tell you otherwise.

Remember to allow your grief whenever it comes up, and allow the layers to peel off one after another.

Even though we know our loved ones who have passed are close by in spirit and soul, we still miss them.

Warmest of hugs to you all.

In a new gentleness,

Caroline

Publishing a website can be challenging as you are putting yourself out there. I learnt so much from being seen online and it helped me along on the journey to be me.

The post The Journey To Be Me, Online appeared first on Palmy Healing Archives.

]]>

I just published my new website

I have just gone live with the third version of my website, and I remember distinctly how challenging it was the very first time around, how much easier it was the second time around, and how completely in the flow it felt this time.

Have a look at PalmyHealing.com. Your feedback is always welcome.

Publishing a website is always a major event, and there are so many details to attend to. I knew from the start that I lacked the patience to handle the technical aspects of building a site, so I invested in a website administrator.

Sharing what you are doing – your love passion and purpose – can be daunting. It almost feels like going naked in public! However, the truer to yourself you are, the better it goes.

This time around, I feel like I have really stepped into my colours embraced most of who I am (we are all works in progress). I feel confident in sharing myself. It is a wonderful feeling, and I hope to inspire you to feel the same.

Two years ago

I finished my EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Pranic Healing education and I was already seeing clients. I knew it would be good for my business to have an online presence, as I love to be online and share my experiences. I decided to make a website.

Back then I had no idea where my path would lead me to. I would have never imagined ending up where I am now. I was not used dreaming big.

I heard from a friend who had a site built and who recommended her website administrator, Will. (BitstromDesign.co.uk)

Naomi Gilmour offers a fabulous course Create your own website, in case you rather do it yourself. I can highly recommend Naomi and her courses, they are fab and fun.

I kept my first site simple, as I was still trying to be widely accepted, so I was simply talking about energy work, I stayed on the ‘safe’ side.

I offered EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, also called Tapping) sessions and Pranic Healing Sessions. Both techniques have been scientifically proven, and I felt like that fact kept me on the “safe side.”

I did not want to show my spiritual side at all because I feared I could be ridiculed or not taken seriously.

I even hired a ‘ghostwriter’ (someone who writes your text and blog posts for you) for my page, as I didn’t feel comfortable talking about my offerings and myself. It felt so weird. Writing about myself still feels weird sometimes, however I got more comfortable doing it.

My soulful writer, Kate, does a fabulous job. If you’d like to hire a writer, I can highly recommend her (KatePhilbin.com).

I always had excuses not to go public back then. I always convinced myself that this bit or that bit was not perfect and it needed to be changed.

Yes, I lacked a bit of confidence to just go out there. I also imagined that everyone would see my page and judge it and me negatively.

Luckily, Kate and Will pushed me gently to go live, and you know what? I am still here! 😉

Doreen Virtue Seminar

When I attended Doreen Virtue’s seminar in Zurich only half a year later, I knew that what I was doing wasn’t Pranic Healing, but was actually Angelic Healing. I channel healing from the Angels. I always knew I was doing more than following the protocols of Pranic Healing, but I hadn’t fully understood before that seminar.

I felt restricted by the structure and strict protocols we were supposed to follow in Pranic Healing. I had guidance to do much more, and so I did.

I loved to be in the flow, and the Angels showed me so many wonderful healing techniques that you wouldn’t read about in any book, not even in Doreen’s.

EFT always felt a bit too “left brainy” for me, if you want to call it that. I love to use it and I love to help people get over a nervous patch or over their restrictive fear; however, I knew it was not me, or at least NOT the true essence of me.

After that seminar, I knew it was time to show my true colours and my love for the Angels.

I have given many readings and received wonderful feedback, and I loved all my Angel courses that I took with Doreen and Charles Virtue, as well as the courses I took with Diana Cooper. I soaked all of the information up and really felt at home around Angel people and the angelic realm.

My second website was born

So I stepped up and integrated the Angels into my new website. I think Will was a bit astounded by my request for a new version only half a year after we published the first version of my website.

I had to smile. I knew I was growing and I was becoming more and more Caroline, my true self.

This time, I even wrote my own text, even though it still felt awkward. I had two versions of the site: one in English and one in German. I learnt that I could express myself better and more at ease in English, so the German writing was always a bit of a hard task for me to feel comfortable in. Maybe it’s because you can speak of healing in English; however, in German ‘Heilung’ has a different ring to it.

I had no problem sharing the Angels, and I accepted that my work wouldn’t fit everyone. If someone didn’t like my work with and references to Angels, I wouldn’t want to work with that person anyway.

I learnt I could not please everyone like I had tried to do all of my life. I learnt that the only person I really had to please was myself. I learnt to be true to myself in more ways than I could even imagine.

Creating a website to suit you is a gradual thing. So when you start out with a website, just go ahead and be flexible. The original version of your website does not have to suit you for 10 years. We all change over time, so do our clothes and our websites and how we promote ourselves.

Stepping into my colours

A bit more than a year after adding the Angels to my site, I am proud to say that I have stepped even more into my true colours and am happy to share a wider area of my work.

I’ve incorporated guided meditations into my offerings. I create personalized meditations for my clients, and I love the journey the Angels take us on when I channel a meditation. These meditations are deeply healing and nourishing.

Receive a healing meditation from me: on my Website Guided Meditation.

I might not have that many Angel pictures on my site anymore; however, rainbows are always a reminder of the beauty within and in the Universe. We are all deeply connected with the Angels and the love from the Universe.

I share the fact that I work with Angels more openly nowadays. I even had an inquiry by phone – a man who found me on one of the EFT sites where I am still listed. I intuitively felt that he didn’t want to work with a spiritual person, so I talked about my work channeling the Angels, and he excused himself.

I was fine with the fact that he didn’t pursue a working relationship with me. I knew I was NOT the right person for him, and hence, I couldn’t really help him along. Of course, it is a pity ‘losing’ his business, but I think I would have done a disservice to both of us had I took him on or reduced myself to ‘just’ EFT. I knew EFT could help him, but for me, doing simple EFT is not who I truly am. I would have felt awkward trying to hide my spiritual side.

I asked the Angels to help him find the perfect therapist so he can be helped and guided along.

Does this mean I only work with spiritual people? No, not at all – but I do know that I want clients who are at least open to Angels and the Universe.

Adding rainbows

I love rainbows, as I see them being symbolic of a promise of a brighter future here and now.

I love colours and rainbows contain all colours. They are so pure and sparkly and just amazing and yes… magical.

Rainbows are also the promise of a new day and brighter day.

Videos

When I updated my website, I integrated videos into all of my pages so prospective clients get a sense of who I am. People can hear and see me, and find out whether they would like to work with me.

Many people have told me that I have a calming voice and that they love my readings and videos. Why not share these things on my website so that everyone can get a better idea of who I am?

I love sharing videos about my love for my work and what I am doing. I hope it comes over clearly.

Dropping the German

Something that was always a bother to me was the German version of my site and having to update two pages all the time.

I learnt that my ideal client speaks enough English to understand what I am writing about. I am comfortable holding a session in German, however, the writing and duplication was too much.

When I saw my friend Karina‘s website (KarinaLadet.com), and noticed that she had just one page in FRENCH in all of her website. I felt it was an awesome idea. Now, I have ONE page dedicated to German (Deutsch) where I share a bit about my work in general and give an overview just for the people who struggle with reading English.

This way, I support my local client base while easing the burden of updating my site in 2 languages.

Life feels so much easier and I am so much more in the flow.

I’ve learnt to do it RIGHT for me, without feeling like I have to please everyone.

Getting out there

This time around, we went online before my site was perfect.

The PayPal buttons still showed coding and the pages had no featured images, which made sharing posts weird. I still have to have someone go over the German text while it is already published.

I feel more comfortable also, as my lovely Editor, Susan Ellis-Saller, went over my English text with her magical wand, and pointed out several things to me before we went live. She is awesome, and I can highly recommend her, not only for her editorial work but also for her Reiki Sessions and most of all her Spiritual Business Mentoring work. (SusanEllisSaller.com)

Learn to be flexible

I am very much OK with the fact that we all change constantly, so why should my website be static?

I don’t fear showing my human side online. We all make mistakes.

Yes, I still have a high expectation of myself and still have a hint of perfectionism in me; however, I am much more in the flow, happy, and flexible.

I also know that mistakes on my website might not haunt me for eternity, as long as I share my messages with love.

So, dear friend, if you’d like to start with a website, remember the first step is always the hardest. If you do what feels right for yourself and just take one step at a time, though, your confidence will grow and you’ll find that there is a big loving world out there, ready to embrace you.

Warm hugs,

Caroline

Little Angel Lost is my story on how I lost my little Angel figurine, and realised that someone was meant to find an angel that day. What can you do when you lose something?

The post Little Angel Lost appeared first on Palmy Healing Archives.

]]>

Have you ever lost something?

What can you do when you lose something?

The other day when I was in town, I suddenly realised that I had lost my little angel figurine from my key chain.

I was sad. I loved that little Angel. It was so beautiful – carved out of amber and I felt it guided me along. It also held a special meaning for me, as I got it from a dear friend.

After I lost the little angel, however, I immediately realised that someone was meant to find an Angel that day. I knew I lost that Angel so someone else would be able to find some guidance and uplift their spirit by finding my little lost Angel. Someone needed the reassurance from the Angels more than I did.

I was happy to be of service, and I gladly said goodbye to my little Angel. It had served me so well and now it would serve someone else well for a while.

Some things are only meant for a certain time – I know that. The only constant in life is change, and we have to be flexible and adaptable enough.

Holding on to things that no longer serve us will only hurt us.

Losing that Angel brought that all home. I could have sat there for hours, contemplating, “Oh where did I lose it? Why didn’t I check it better?” I could have walked back all the way I came; I could have done a million things, but they probably would not have brought this Angel back to me.

The knowledge that my time with this Angel had come to an end, and that this beautiful Angel was going to serve someone else was very comforting.

When we walk the path trusting that everything has a higher reason, we can be happier. We are free of self-blame and worry. We just know that the things that happen are meant to be – there is a higher reason for it, and all is well.

Have you ever lost something? How do you still feel about it?

If you find yourself being sad or mad about something you’ve misplaced, you can ask Archangel Michael to help you release pain and sorrow, then you can ask Archangel Raphael to send green healing light to you so you can heal from your loss. I also usually have Mother Mary help me release the pain from my heart.

I explain the little exercises in this video, enjoy

The work with Mother Mary can be followed by asking the Angels to pour beautiful pink soothing light all around me.

You can sit quietly and let the Angel show you what a gift you have brought to the world. Know deep down in your heart that all is well, and this needed to happen for a reason unknown to you.

How do you feel now?

Of course, this method can also be applied to grief when a loved one has passed into the light. If you feel the grief still, know that your loved one is well, and his/her time was up. There was nothing more that you could have done, and nothing would have changed the outcome.

When you are grieving, ask Archangel Azrael to help you with your grief, and to help elevate the pain. Archangel Azrael can also help you to connect with your loved one’s soul. Maybe you can sense him/her around for a while.

Always thank the Angels for their help, and remember, that a grateful heart is always full.

I wish you all a wonderful day…

May peace and trust be with you,

and remember to talk to your Angels.

Warm hugs,

Caroline

How to Release Lower Energies https://archive.palmyhealing.com/how-to-release-lower-energies/ https://archive.palmyhealing.com/how-to-release-lower-energies/#respond Thu, 28 May 2015 08:30:15 +0000 http://palmyhealing.com/?p=12725

Everyday we are surrounded by lower energies, that has an effect on our well-being. Some neat techniques will help you to release lower energies so you can stay in your true essence and remain calm and relaxed more easily.

The post How to Release Lower Energies appeared first on Palmy Healing Archives.

]]>

Each of us comes into contact with many different kinds of energy each and every day. Some energies we encounter are uplifting while others are draining.

Cleansing your energy system daily is as important as taking a shower to cleanse your physical body. Washing away, cleansing, and releasing your energy body of all forms of lower energy is essential to your well being, and continuing growth.

There are so many possibilities to release lower energies, and I will go into several that I find most healing.

Walk in Nature

Nature vibrates at an extremely high level – it is clean, pure energy. Indulging in that lovely energy daily is healing, relaxing, and releasing.

beautiful walk in nature, surrounded by green fields, trees, and maybe even a source of water, like a stream, river, or lake is awesome for your soul. The colours soothe your eyes and nourish your well-being.

In nature, you are able to connect with the Universe, the Angels, and all the love around you. You will relax and automatically release all kind of stress or negativity.

Breathing in the fresh air restores you, and you are able to heal on all levels.

Go out into nature daily. If you live in a big city that doesn’t have any nature areas, go to a park, or just sit near a tree.

Trees

Trees are amazing healers. They carry old wisdom and change lower energy into higher energy, in the same way they give oxygen by transmuting the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

If you can, stand next to a tree. Imagine that you are like a tree, with roots growing out of the soles of your feet – those roots connect with Mother Gaia (Earth) and the ancient wisdom of the trees.

Imagine how your roots allow you to let go of everything that burdens you. Breathe in the wisdom, the calm, and the power of the tree you are standing next to and the earth that you are rooted into.

You can also embrace a tree and rest your forehead on its bark. It is easy to connect with the love and healing that are contained within the tree that way. Hugging trees also helps to calm your brain and soothe your thinking.

Then hold your arms up and gently sway in the wind. Ask for flexibility. Imagine being deeply rooted and stable – but still flexible – so you won’t break in the wind.

Be like a tree: stand tall and proud.

Flowers

People often send flowers to loved ones when they are in hospital because they are such wonderful healing tools.

Flowers cheer people up instantly.

Connecting with flowers opens you to the energy of the Universe and allows the Angels to work with you.

So whenever you see a flower or a tree in bloom, stop, look at it, smell the flower, and just be still for a moment.

Allow the healing of the flower to go through you… releasing, healing, and lifting you up.

It is also good to have some fresh flowers in your home, as it lifts your energy and keeps a soothing calm environment. Of course, flowers are also associated with the Angels, and represent their loving and healing energy.

Grounding

You may feel stressed because you have too many things to do, so it is essential for you to come back to your roots – to just be calm for a bit and reconnect with who you truly are.

Go walk barefoot on grass or moss, and simply enjoy the tingly feeling between your toes. Let the cool energy of the earth soothe you. Breathe it all in through the soles of your feet, and just be.

Stand with your feet apart – tall and proud – and gain some of the strength and security that comes to you through your direct connection with the earth.

Breathe in deeply and release when you exhale.

You can learn more about grounding in my blog post Grounding is Essential.

Salt Baths

Salt baths are very healing, and also deeply cleansing and releasing.

I have written a blog post on salt baths. You can read more here if you’d like to find out more about them.

Breathing

Whenever you are stressed or burdened, you may forget to breathe down into your belly. Often, you will breathe just into your chest, not allowing the breath to reach the lower chakras and your entire energy system.

So it is essential to concentrate on breathing. Put the palms of your hands on your lower belly – below your navel – and concentrate on breathing into your hands. Expand your belly (even if your mother taught you to keep your belly in). This way you can relax and release. This is called conscious breathing.

Breathe consciously at least three times a day, and more often if you feel stressed or tired.

Bringing fresh oxygen into your body by consciously breathing is important as you may drain your system of important oxygen if you don’t breathe deeply.

Shielding

Shielding ourselves from lower and harsh energies is essential for blocking lower energies from draining you. You can read more about shielding in my blog post here.

Water

It is necessary to drink plenty of water daily to flush out what you no longer need in your system. Your body needs to detox and heal from the inside out as well.

Fresh, clear water is an essential source of your well-being.

Your body consists of 75% water, so you need to make sure to keep hydrated and bring in fresh clear, pure water daily. Like exhaling removes toxins from your system, flushing your system with plenty of water helps you to flush lower energy out of your body.

16waystorelease

Sun Bathing

The sun can help you to heal and release – it can burn away lower energy and release you from everything that weighs you down.

(Of course, you need to be mindful about exposure and adhere to your own skin tone. Only spend the appropriate amount of time in the sun.)

The solar plexus (situated below your rib cage and above your navel) is the centre where you store lower emotions. That chakra can easily become blocked up with pain, hurt, guilt, unforgiveness, and other lower emotions.

Whenever the sun is shining, you should try to sit outside for at least 10 minutes, letting the sun burn away all lower energies. Also, if you can, bare your belly (I do), and let the sun shine directly on your solar plexus while you take deep breaths and release all lower and stuck emotions.

This is a very healing and soothing procedure.

Enjoy the sun and let it burn away anything that no longer serves you.

Meditate

Meditation is a time to relax and release. During meditation, you are open to receiving guidance from the Universe. Meditation is a time to connect with the Angels and listen for their messages.

If you are new to meditation, you can just take some time daily to sit still and concentrate on your breathing and try to just be.

Alternatively, you can listen to a guided meditation. Guided meditations can be very soothing and releasing, as well as healing.

You can find a couple of guided Meditation that can help you along on my Healing Shop.

You can even join a meditation group, or try to find a Meditation with the Angels near you. Personally, I hold a Meditation evening near Zurich on a monthly basis. You can find out more about it on my Events page here.

Naps

I know you are not a baby anymore, but still, naps can be so restorative, healing, and releasing. Naptime is a time to let go of your issues and relax.

Taking a nap helps you to shut down and leaves your mind at peace, so you can connect to your own inner truth and are more able to listen to guidance from the Angels. Sometimes napping allows time for lucid dreaming and being very close to Angelic wisdom. I often get great inspiration during my naps.

Whenever you feel tired, allow yourself to take a nap, it will probably help you. After your nap, you will likely feel more productive and refreshed.

Release it all during a nap.

Detox

Detoxing is also a helpful tool to release lower energies, especially if you approach your detox in a holistic way. When detoxing, it is also necessary to work with your emotions and thought patterns – not only your body.

Think of a detox as a flushing out of your energy system, where you learn to concentrate on the good, positive, and loving.

Observe your self-talk and your thoughts, and readjust if necessary. Think only positive thoughts. Release all others.

Concentrate on good feelings. Learn to be grateful for what you have, and expand that feeling in your heart, while releasing all negative emotions.

Please note that it is absolutely normal to have negative thoughts and emotions – we are all human. When you focus on detoxing your thoughts, though, it’s important to stop talking yourself down or punishing yourself for not being perfect. Just observe, cleanse away negativity, and concentrate on positivity.

Doreen Virtue and Robert Reeves have written a beautiful book on this topic, ‘Detoxing with the Angels.’  You can find it here on Amazon.

Exercise and Movement

Shake your body, move around, dance, and be wild. Get your energy flowing – this way old and stuck energy gets released.

Find some sort of movement that you love to do. Remember that even a walk is enough, or perhaps dancing for 5 minutes in the privacy of your home might be all you need.

Yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong and Tai Chi are lovely practices that can also help you connect to yourself. If you have been curious about any of them, you may want to find a YouTube video or check out a class.

Cutting Cords

Cut the energetic cords to all lower energies with the help of the Angels. You can read about this in my last blog post here.

Open Up to Creativity

I always thought I was not a creative person. I can’t draw. I can’t paint. That was till I learnt that creativity expands way beyond the arts.

You can be creative by singing, taking photos, writing, doing arts and crafts, or arranging flowers, among other things. Those are all creative pursuits. Even writing blog posts is an outlet.

I have let go of fear of not being good and just grabbed a box of crayons, started doodling, and I was extremely happy with the outcome.

What I’ve learnt about being creative is that you should

.

Being creative is being in the flow of life. So find something that you love to do – maybe dancing, expressing yourself through movement, singing along, or creating your own tunes. Just go out there and do it.

You might also try creating a vision board focused on how you want your life to be. Get some pictures from the internet and a big piece of paper and make your very own “perfect life” collage.

Being creative unblocks the throat chakra, and also helps with speaking and standing up for yourself. So go try it out.

I can tell from my own experience that being creative is amazing, and that I love being creative. Remember, too, that what you do is for yourself; you never have to show your creations to anyone if you don’t want to.

Self-Acceptance

If you are not happy with whom you are, you are vibrating at a lower energy level. Releasing all blocks to self-acceptance and all hindrances to self-love is very freeing and liberating.

Release all thoughts of comparison and need for perfection. By accepting who you truly are, you free up blocked energy and get back into the flow of love.

Improve the way you feel about yourself, join me on a 7 Day Nurturing Self Love Journey.

Please feel free to explore the above-mentioned releasing tools and be open to finding your own techniques too.

I am always happy to hear about your experiences. Please leave a comment and help us all along the path.

Warm hugs,
Caroline
